Shelter Outreach Plus is the primary provider of supportive housing and services directed toward the homeless and victims of domestic violence within the County of Monterey.

The agency is the largest and only provider of many of the services and programs needed by the homeless as they make their way from the street to permanent housing. Current programs focus on outreach, emergency shelter, and transitional housing.

Family Helpline is a toll-free 24-hour, bilingual telephone information and referral service that assists families in crisis in gaining access to agencies and programs that best suit their pressing needs.

Shelter Outreach Plus operates two 30-60-day emergency shelters that offer women and children safety and assistance as they begin the rehabilitative process necessary to break the cycle of abuse or homelessness.

Homeward Bound
 
This 18-month transitional living program provides a community setting for women and children who are motivated to take an active step toward an independent, productive and violence-free life through employment and educational activities.

M.O.S.T.
(Mobile Outreach Services Team)
 
M.O.S.T. is a team of skilled workers who work with the county’s street homeless in an effort to help them gain access to services and/or begin the process of moving off of the streets.

I-HELP
(Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program)
 
I-HELP offers single men shelter, food and support though the continued support of over 60 congregations throughout Monterey County.

I-HELP has never missed a night of offering services for the homeless in its 13 years of operation.
