BEATITUDE MASS
In commemoration of Shelter Outreach Plus' 30th year of service to the community, SOP hosted the Beatitude Mass on Friday, April 25th to benefit the participants of our I-HELP programs. Thank you to all the perfomers, congregations and attendees for making this a successful event!

THUNDER RIDERS 2nd ANNUAL CAR SHOW

The Thunder Riders Motorcycle Group is pleased to announce the Second Annual Bike/Car show. The 2008 Bike/Car Show will be held at Toro Regional Park off Hyw 68. The 2008 Bike/Car Show will be energized with music by the "Chicano All Stars" more kids events such as: New Image face painting by Peggy Chavez, George's Birds, Balloons and Magic Show by "Chonky", petting zoo, jump houses and much more. For the adults we have a horseshoe tournament, club tug-a-war, and more vendors. BBQ, give aways, plus win a trip for two on a 3 day cruise, and more. You don't want to miss this Bike/Car Show "EXTRAVAGAZA". All proceeds will benefit local charities including Shelter Outreach Plus. Please visit the Thunder Riders website for more information.

LEXINGTON COURT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
After 8 years of working to rehabilitate 14 housing units on Fort Ord, Shelter Outreach Plus is finally commencing development of the property on Lexington Court in Marina. In May 2007 the State of California Emergency Housing Assistance Program Capital Development awarded SOP with $867,990 to develop this project. Development will begin soon after February 1st with the goal of inhabiting the housing by Winter of 2008. Please check back for updates on this project.
